Free Initial Consultation
A chance to see if we like each other and for me to show you my portfolio of past projects... just to prove I can do it. It will also give you an idea of how much it's all going to cost.

Garden Design
Once you have told me what you want I produce sketch plans and ideas just to show I was paying attention. These can be easily altered so should be seen as a starting point for discussion, your input is important. I then go on to produce the full design that can be implemented by you, if you need the exercise, your landscapers or mine.

Planting Plan
How many times have you bought an expensive plant at the garden centre because it looked pretty? Then just to thank you it will curl up and die or grow so big you have to hack it back before it takes over the whole garden. That's why you need a planting plan - so you put the right plant in the right place. I can also supply plants so you don't have to pay garden centre prices.

Construction
I work with two experienced landscapers who also happen to be very nice chaps and have hardworking staff who don't loaf about all day drinking cups of tea. George Bailey of Uxbridge and Wycliffe Landscapes Bournemouth both implement my designs to the highest standards to ensure your garden, like you, will grow old gracefully.

If you want the cheapest quote in town we are probably not the team for you. A low price means someone is skimping somewhere and that's usually the bit you can't see. We offer value for money and a garden that lasts. I keep in touch with the project until the last ophiopogon planiscapus nigrescens (look it up) is safely installed. That's the buzz for me - seeing a plan on paper become a living garden.

  Maintenance
At last I have found someone who maintains gardens that way I think they should be. David Maloney of Bournemouth is a gardener and not someone who calls himself that, then hacks everything back to within an inch of its life. He uses his knowledge as well as his tools to keep gardens looking good all year round. If anyone knows of a similar person in the Uxbridge area, let me know. I can draw up maintenance schedules for those doing their own weeding, feeding and pruning.

New Housing
I work closely with Glenscape and Glenmore of Bournemouth. One of our latest schemes is the garden of an exciting split level house being built in Kings Avenue, Bournemouth.

What started out resembling a small quarry will become a ravishing tropical ravine. We have the technology - we can build it.

So, between us we try and offer a complete gardening service. If we can't do it we know a man who can. There's Spike the groundwork specialist, Patrick who builds big water courses and lakes and ..... If you need to know more, want to arrange a free consultation or simply wonder why the leaves are dropping off your pittosporum, please feel free to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.

TV and Radio
We have been making our irregular, irreverent (some say irrelevant) gardening show "Down to Earth" at Harefield Hospital www.hhtv.org for a couple of years now. We seem to have got the hang of it so if anyone would like to commission us for a series on national TV do please get in touch!

I am a regular panellist on BBC Radio Solent's Topsoil with Pippa Greenwood . This is broadcast on Saturday mornings between10am and 1pm on 96.1FM so phone in if you have any questions for us.
