Current projects

Overlinks Drive, Poole

A very formal garden leading to a swimming pool and Mediterranean garden. Feel a bit bad about this one. They were only going to have a plunge pool until I persuaded them to have a full size pool! Well, it just wouldn’t have been big enough!

Berwick Road, Talbot Woods.

The third one in this road. This is a family garden complete with jungle and a tranquil green and white secret garden with raised pool.

Clarendon Road, Bournemouth

Landscaping grounds around new apartments built by local developers, Glenscape. I also did the artist’s impression on the hoarding!

Hilltop Road, Ferndown

Sunny rear garden, quite large but lawn not required. A good example of how to do hard landscaping without it looking like a car park. Lots of Indian sandstone, boulders, gravels and cobbles with sumptuous planting.

Kingston Vale and Fairmile Road, Cobham.

Two new build sites for Beaufield Homes.

Harefield Hospital, Harefield, Middlesex

Before A small secluded garden and somewhere for us to do outside broadcasts and interviews. Constructed by enthusiastic helpers from Barclays Bank.

Beaucroft Road, Colehill

A big garden with some magnificent trees. Will feature a woodland garden, football pitch and a folly with fireplace for barbeques and a stained glass window.

Dane Drive

Before A garden of two halves. Classic English leading to a jungle with the most incredible decking and planting to disguise a raised swimming pool.

Dane Drive

Next door! Should be wonderful challenge to fit in Mediterranean, Japanese, jungle, heathers, coloured foliage and a lawn without them conflicting with each other. I feel another Compton Acres in the making.

Firside Road, Corfe Mullen

Lots going on here including an extension a new office so could take some time to complete. However when finished will include Jacuzzi, big log cabin, jungle with slide down a hill, telephone kiosk, hidden trampoline and a turf alligator.

Brawlings Lane, Chalfont St Peter, Bucks

How to disguise a tennis court using native and non native planting.

Upper London Road, Harrow, Middlesex

Before An old coach house so must be sympathetic but there are two beloved boxer dogs who fancy themselves as gardeners!

ulr1.jpg (212895 bytes)

Pine Avenue, Southbourne

For Capital Projects, interesting paving and lush planting surrounding a Victorian house converted to flats.

pa1.jpg (175801 bytes)

Montague Road, Southbourne

Bringing a new summerhouse, some interest and a bit of order and to an enthusiastic gardener’s plot

Canford Cliffs Avenue, Poole

Before Gardens that slope up from the house are always a challenge and this is no exception. Light sandy soil too.

cca1.jpg (153670 bytes)

Langside School, Bournemouth

Finishing off a playground with big cut out jungle animals.

Leeson Road, Bournemouth

Re-designing a patio to provide a link between conservatory and garden.

No point in showing photos of all of these at his time but watch this space
